Homebrew, but with Docker images
Whalebrew creates aliases for Docker images so you can run them as if they were native commands. It’s like Homebrew, but everything you install is cleanly packaged up in a Docker image.
I recently wrote on a log collector that used Docker’s Container Logs API to subscribe output streams of containers. Most people don’t go this way, because they use well known logging drivers so it’s hard to find any programs consuming this API.Read more »
